Kamel Damene
As a Master Practitioner in Ericksonian Hypnosis, I offer in-home hypnosis sessions in Dunsborough and surrounding areas..
To best support you, I practice creative hypnosis, where everything originates from you. Each session is unique and personalized, tailored to your objectives and needs.
My role is to create the ideal conditions for you to explore this experience in a way that feels natural and empowering.
In hypnosis, adaptability is key.

The Ericksonian approach is unique in its ability to incorporate all forms of hypnosis, making it adaptable to a wide range of situations.
Its history dates back to the 1930s, shaped by the groundbreaking work of Milton H. Erickson, one of the greatest hypnotherapists of the last century.
Building on psychotherapy, this approach revolutionized therapeutic support through the study of brief therapy and modern communication techniques.
Key Features of Ericksonian Hypnosis
The client is at the heart of the process. Each session is unique and personalized, requiring creativity, understanding, and flexibility from the practitioner. This allows the client to express themselves in an optimal environment for change.
The power belongs to the client, not the practitioner. Contrary to common misconceptions about hypnosis, the goal is to help the client regain freedom and autonomy—not to be guided or controlled.
Solutions come from within the client. They emerge organically based on their needs, expectations, and personal ecosystem.
The client learns to explore altered states of consciousness. This facilitates new learning and progress toward their goals.
Change is the essence of hypnosis. It is a journey of transformation and evolution. The client gains self-awareness, helping them understand their blocks and inner workings.
Everyone has the power to change. Our role is to help them reclaim it.
"Too many therapists try to reassure their patients; they attempt to take away the reality of their symptoms rather than accept and work with that reality."
— Milton H. Erickson -
Conversational hypnosis is a form of hypnosis based on an informal induction, which is not consciously perceived by those experiencing it.
In fact, we all practice it naturally in our daily lives—often without even realizing it. This happens through a powerful tool: communication.
This approach enables the influence of speech on the mind and is built upon the art of connection, conversation, and suggestion.
I offer to put my expertise in this tool at your service, creating a targeted and precise unconscious action—both to guide you into altered states of consciousness and to support your personal transformation.
"Your story serves as the foundation for all your abilities and all your limitations. Since you have only one story, you have only one set of possibilities and one set of limitations, and we truly believe that each of us deserves more than a single personal story to rely on. The more personal stories you have, the more choices you have."
— Richard Bandler & John Grinder -
The systemic approach, commonly known as the Palo Alto School, seeks to understand a system in its entirety, analyzing both its structure and dynamics while considering communication and interactions between individuals.
This approach focuses on analyzing change processes and resistances, whether they come from the client or their environment.
Systemic thinking is particularly useful for supporting social systems such as families, workplaces, social groups, and couples.
"It is better to understand the internal dynamics of a system and anticipate response times.
The Anglo-Saxons call this the sense of timing: knowing when to initiate an action—not too early, not too late—but at the moment when the system is ready to react spontaneously in one direction or another.
The sense of timing allows for maximizing the internal energy of a complex system, rather than imposing external directives that it would resist."
— Joël de Rosnay -
Understanding Psychological Structures for Effective Support
In a therapeutic setting, understanding psychological phenomena and different mental structures enables the practitioner to gain a deeper insight into the person they are supporting, as well as the possible interventions and strategies to employ.
As a Certified Hypnologist in Psychopathology, I have expanded my understanding of the personalities I accompany, allowing for a more tailored and effective approach.
Examples of Topics That Can Be Addressed in Sessions:
Neuroses (hysteria, obsession, phobias)
Borderline states and psychotic episodes (depression, psychosis, paranoia)
Personality disorders
Addictions and compulsions
Adolescence
Sexual life
Paraphilic disorders
Abandonment wounds

Description de l’élémentNeuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) was created in the 1970s in the United States by John Grinder and Richard Bandler.
It was developed through the observation and analysis of individuals considered models of excellence in interpersonal communication, learning, and change.
NLP structures the approach of hypnosis and facilitates its learning.
"NLP offers a way to look beyond the behavioral content of what people do, to perceive the more invisible forces underlying these behaviors, down to the thought structures that enable people to act effectively."
— Robert Dilts

RITMO® is a combination of hypnosis and NLP developed by Lili Ruggieri to help alleviate post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD).
Particularly suited for hypnosis practitioners, this technique is derived from EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) and reactivates the brain’s natural information-processing system, allowing individuals to move beyond the traumatic phase.
A trauma occurs when an emotional experience is too complex for the brain hemispheres to "decode."
To transform a traumatic experience into a manageable memory, our information-processing ability must be activated. However, a traumatic event disrupts this process, leaving the experience stuck in a loop, continuously affecting cognitive perceptions.
Bilateral sensory stimulations (visual, auditory, or physical) used in RITMO® facilitate the desensitization of negative emotions and promote the spontaneous emergence of adaptive information, enabling the brain to process and integrate traumatic memories.
